The people of Newkirk FUMC's mission is to know and share the love of Christ for the transformation of lives. We hear God's call on our lives to be disciples and to do this we seek to grow in love for God and neighbor. God gave us our minds to utilize and hearts to fill and part of how we use those is we journey alongside one another to grow in our faith, whether its in wrestling with questions or supporting and caring for one another when we're in need or if its gathering for fun and fellowship. We seek to live as a community of faith, to make life long friends, to share in life together as we grow. We offer multiple ways and opportunities for study and fellowship.
Disciple 1 Fast track classes
this offers two 12 week sessions, classes are an hour and 15 min each. This gives us an opportunity to walk through the Bible, beginning with our basic human longings and discovering within the stories who God is and who God has created us to be. Great conversation, top notch scholarship, and openness to learning make this a powerful study to be a part of. This class sets a faith foundation grounded in scripture that can last a life time.
