Contemporary WORSHIP 6-21-20
"A Father's Love"

We are honored that you                              would visit our church site.

FUMC Newkirk is a warm

and generous community                            that truly loves Jesus! This

is an unprecedented time                              in the history of our country, and we as a church are seeking to adapt. As you can see, we have had to cancel many of our Lenten and Easter events due the the coronavirus, but we are still actively involved in each other's lives.

In the past year we have focused our attention on the fact that our community of faith is NOT about the Church building! As believers of Jesus Christ, we are much, much more than a physical structure. It is a privilege to be challenged at this time to make this a reality as we seek creative ways to connect through social media.

Worship Leader, Larry Newsom!

Let's give a warm welcome to  our Contemporary Worship Leader Larry Newsom!  Larry has over 25 years experience as a guitarist, vocalist, and musician and has had extensive experience in leading worshippers through the years.

He has recorded two albums, Change the World and Loved.

Larry will be leading worship on Sunday mornings online. Join us!

Congratulations, Kiley Mills!

Kiley is the daughter of Dustin and Sydney Mills, and Micah Mills. She is the granddaughter of Mike and Bunny Landis, and Jim and Dawn Mills.

Kiley has attended Newkirk Public Schools her entire life. She was in STU-CO her four years of high school. From the time she was little, Kiley has been a cheerleader, starting out with ACC, and in 2019 taking 1st place at Nationals. Since Middle School she has been a Newkirk Tiger Cheerleader, winning back to back state champions with her team the past two years. Not only has she been on a champion team several times, she has won several individual awards. Two years in a row she was awarded “most valuable cheerleader.” She also was selected as one of the 16 all-state cheerleaders in Oklahoma. Being one of the elite cheerleaders in the state, Kiley also received the prestigious letterman jacket. In addition to being a talented cheerleader who did anything her coach asked of her, whether it be a base, a flyer, or a tumbler, Kylie is an awesome big sister. Her main hobby is spending time with family and friends.

Kiley has chosen to attend and cheer at Northern Oklahoma College in the fall. She plans to major in Pre-Dentistry.

CONGRATULATIONS Kiley! We are proud of you! Blessings to your future! 🙏💗
